Our self catering accommodation lies some eight miles from Finstown in the village of Evie. The cottages are situated on a working dairy farm with Eynhallow Sound, Aikerness sands and the Broch of Gurness all within easy walking distance. The complex, based on an old farm steading, bears much of its original character and not far away an old mill lead provides shelter for a small camp site.
The cottages are comfortably furnished in country style. Kitchens are equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, glasses, refrigerators, toasters, microwave ovens, and electric cookers. Also provided are 'Freesat' TV with DVD player and a Radio/CD player. Bed linen and fresh towels are provided for each person included in the party. However, if during your stay you require a change of linen or an extra set, a small service charge will apply.
We also have a fold up bed and a cot 'in house'. Making it possible to accommodate larger family groups of up to five people.There is a laundry room on site, which also houses a deep freeze, for the use of guests. There is ample, safe car parking space, adjacent to the accommodation, and one of the cottages has provision for the partially disabled.
WiFi Broadband access available in all cottages and we have also recently installed a mobile phone 'signal repeater'.
